Mandarin is one of the three "original" citrus, among Pomelo and Citron, from which all other citrus fruit originated through natural and man-made hybridization. This means that during the centuries, Mandarin has kept its authentic sweetness and fragrance. Three varieties have found fertile ground at the foothills of Etna Vulcano and continue to grow without the use of pesticides to still deliver the highest quality mandarin marmalade available in the market. Fabulous on plain or sourdough bread, tarts, pies but also balancing on very aged cheese.
